Transition FAQ

We want to share information with our church family about ourmove to our new site for Sunday Services. Here are a few details that may answer some of your questions about this transition.  Please call the church office at 925-846-4436 if you find that you need more information or have more questions! 

1. What is our worship schedule?

Sunday, May 4 – First worship at the Centerpointe campus – Worship celebrations of gratitude and thanksgiving held at 9:00 and 10:30 in our two styles of worship. In addition, we will have a brief service of dedication of the entire campus at 11:45 followed by a fellowship luncheon and activities for the whole family.

Sunday, May 11 – Welcome Weekend – On this Sunday we will begin inviting the community and building bridges of relationship with people.

Are we celebrating Ministry Appreciation on May 3rd?
The Ministry Appreciation event originally scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd has now been rescheduled and incorporated into the May 4 opening celebration day. Also, The Leadership Retreat scheduled for May 3 and “The Way” membership class scheduled for May 4 will be rescheduled to new dates (announcement coming soon).

If you have questions, please talk to any elder or staff member. Most of all, please continue to pray for our gracious and loving God to make our way clear for this final leg of our journey. And pray for God’s blessings to unfold in new and remarkable ways.

3. What is the church’s mailing address?
Mail will continue to be received at the Mirador address.

4. Where will our mid-week Youth Groups meet?
Ignition and Fusion will begin meeting at Centerpointe in Rooms 7-8 beginning Tues. 4/27 & Wed. 4/28 respectively.

5. Where will our Choir rehearse?
Our choir will be rehearsing at Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday nights at 7:30 p.m.

6. Where will our Worship Band rehearse?
Our worship band will be rehearsing at Harvest Valley Church on Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m.

7. What about Small Groups?
Small Groups will continue to meet, as usual, in member homes or other agreed upon locations.

8. How will we contact our church Administrative Offices?
Our church administrative office can be reached by calling our regular phone number: 925-846-4436. 
Our church secretarial staff has an office with regular office hours and is located at 7020 Koll Center Parkway, Suite 101 in Pleasanton.  Church mail will continue to be picked up from the Mirador address. Ministry Program Staff will be working from a number of locations, and will also be accessible to the congregation, as usual.

9. Church Directories
Updated church directories will be available to the congregation. 

10. Communications
Our administrative staff will continue to serve the congregation on a daily basis, and we will continue to produce our Pleasanton Presbyterian Church ENews, and will also have it in a printed form on Sundays in order to keep our communications consistent and efficient.  We will be publishing contact numbers for staff in the upcoming directory for the convenience of our congregation.
